Video Excellence Award from the American Heart Association of Richmond

Last night, Metro was honored to receive a 2015 Video Excellence Award from the Richmond chapter of the American Heart Association during the AHA's Volunteer Appreciation Event. The award stemmed from our "Mission: Lifeline" video, which premiered at the 2015 Heart Ball, an annual event that celebrates volunteers and donors and recognizes the lives changed and saved thanks to the hard work of the AHA as well as community and philanthropic leaders. The producer of the video, Tricia Dewey, accepted the award on behalf of everyone at Metro who worked tirelessly to create the powerful final product.

Along with Metro, many inspiring volunteers and heart disease/stroke survivors received various awards throughout the evening. We were proud to be surrounded by so many people who have made a difference.
